Entrepreneur Simulation for Middle School

$10.00

High schools often have business incubator units, but this is a unit that can be used in the advanced middle school! In teams, students create a business idea. They then need to use available technology to make their business idea worthy of investment. Being able to create a pitch to convince an audience to invest in their business aligns with standards and the incubator provides an authentic opportunity to increase their motivation and excitement.

My class used this idea as a Shark Tank activity. It was so fun (for adults and students)! Some students wanted to continue their work outside of class to try to take their idea to the next level.” -L. Kascek
